Each day a visiting artist will lead art workshops with the children, supported by our creative playworkers. We cover a wide variety of art and crafts with a focus on learning and most of all FUN! With access to a full range of arts facilities and equipment, and use of our extensive grounds, lawns, gardens and woodland.

The club is for primary school children aged 5-12 years and will run from 9am – 3.30pm
(drop off from 9am-9.30am, pick up 3.30pm sharp)
The club costs £33 per day, this includes the provision of a wide range of art materials, refreshments, and snack.
Children will need to bring their own packed lunch and raincoat/sunscreen.
We hope to get outside into our beautiful grounds to explore as often as possible, so please pack raincoats as well as dressing in suitable clothing and footwear.
The club is for children with a love of art and crafts.
This is a busy and noisy environment with up to 32 children participating daily. Please note that we are not a registered childcare provider, and we do not have additional support beyond our Artists and Creative Playworkers.
We want all our children to get the most from their art club workshops, in a safe and happy environment. If you would like to discuss accessibility, please give us a call.
This ticket is for people who are on benefits such as Income based Council Tax or are unemployed or unable to work and worry about meeting their and their family's basic needs. There is a limited number of these tickets.
There are a maximum of 4 free places available to be shared amongst families low income families. Please select one session per week, per child.
These few places are much needed, please be considerate when booking so that other families can also benefit from the sessions.
Universal Credit - Please note, our Universal credit ticket no longer exists. As Universal Credit has recently restructured, our free ticket criteria has been updated to make sure that these are reaching the families who cannot afford them otherwise.
With Artist Carla Smith
Carla Smith is a contemporary artist whose practice explores the intricate dynamics of human relationships and the nuances of showing care for others. Working across many mediums—from printmaking and ceramics to bookmaking—she often creates multisensory, interactive experiences such as allowing the audience to consume, touch and physically be a part of the artwork. Carla also works with food as a tool within her socially engaged art practice.
Monday
Collaborative Drawing Day invites children to join in communal art-making and imaginative exploration. Through activities like communal drawing and surface rubbings, they'll create a map of an imaginary world, with additional games and exercises to spark creativity.
Tuesday
Tool Making Day offers a hands-on experience for children to craft their own tools using found objects, with activities like mark-making and tile-making. They'll explore creating art and games with their handmade tools, fostering collaboration and creativity.
Wednesday
Creature Creations Day immerses children in imaginative play and creativity. They'll design their own creatures through line drawing and costume making, constructing dens and bug sculptures. Additional activities include weaving, rock painting, and crafting clothespin bugs, fostering a magical and fun environment.
Thursday
Nature Exploration Day invites children to engage with the outdoors through creative activities like making sun catchers and chimes, as well as playing nature-inspired games. They'll delve into sound exploration, shadow drawing, and silhouette art, nurturing a deeper exploration of the natural world.
Friday
Printmaking Day presents a variety of printing techniques, including foil mono-printing, polystyrene printing, and potato printing. Participants will explore different materials and methods to create unique prints, with additional activities like leaf printing and cardboard stamp making available throughout the day.
